National Facilities Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Execute or supervise preventive maintenance activities, along with project management for construction, repair, and remodeling initiatives.

• Oversee the selection of vendors and manage the contracting procedures.

• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions using incident reporting documentation to the general manager and HR; complete necessary safety training and certifications.

• Support management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching staff members.

• Ensure that employees adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security; report any maintenance issues, safety risks, accidents, or injuries; and complete mandatory safety training and certifications.

• Comply with all company policies and procedures, maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, and uphold confidentiality regarding proprietary information.

• Cultivate and sustain positive working relationships with colleagues, assist the team in achieving shared objectives, and actively listen and respond to teammates' concerns.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business development, or a related field.

• Associate degree or relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience that is equivalent.

• A minimum of three years of professional experience, including at least one year in a supervisory role.

• Technical trade or vocational school degree.

• OSHA 40 certification and additional technical certifications (e.g., CPO).

• Certified Facility Manager designation through IFMA.

• Experience in conducting facilities risk assessments.

• Experience managing renovation projects and defining scope of work.

• Proficiency in budgeting, report writing, spreadsheet management, and experience with Gantt charts.
