This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.
• Oversee 450–550 national account projects from the initial order intake through to final installation and closure.
• Analyze and interpret architectural drawings and specifications to determine necessary products and ensure adherence to project requirements.
• Input and manage orders in D365 (Dynamics 365), which includes releasing orders to the factory and procuring Class 2 parts for distributor orders.
• Collaborate with the Credit department to resolve credit holds and facilitate prompt order processing.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers, providing status updates, collecting installation dates, and addressing inquiries.
• Work alongside internal branch offices to ensure smooth project execution by providing comprehensive project files, detailed documentation, and clear installation guidelines.
• Monitor the status of each project using a centralized tracking system; keep accurate and current project information, including order status, shipping dates, installation dates, issues, and next steps.
• Actively follow up on projects to guarantee timely shipment and installation; if delays occur, gather necessary information and implement corrective measures to bring the project back on schedule.
• Partner with the Contracts team to secure signed agreements and collaborate with Billing to ensure precise and prompt invoicing.
• Quickly and appropriately escalate issues using Microsoft Teams and phone calls (preferred) instead of relying solely on email.
• Engage in cross-functional communication with Factory, Operations, Distribution, and Service teams to address delays or quality concerns.
• Provide regular updates to account leadership on project health, risks, and recovery strategies.
• Maintain documentation and audit trails for project decisions, modifications, and approvals.
• Promote continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and offering ideas to enhance efficiency and on-time performance.
• 2-3+ years of experience in project management or account management within manufacturing, distribution, or construction sectors; experience with Auto doors/access controls or similar products is highly advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or comparable ERP systems.
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Excel.
• Proven capability to manage a substantial volume of projects (400+ annually).
• Exceptional customer-facing skills with the ability to build credibility and trust with national accounts.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in escalating issues and driving cross-functional resolutions.
