This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Develop and maintain daily relationships with Sephora US, acting as the primary contact for commercial, category, marketing, and operational discussions.
β’ Oversee the complete execution of the Sephora US launch, encompassing assortment planning, launch calendars, promotional strategies, and in-store activations.
β’ Enhance sell-out performance by analyzing data, diagnosing performance at the door level, and creating rapid action plans in collaboration with Sephora.
β’ Manage the operational aspects of the account: analyzing sell-in and sell-through metrics, forecasting, inventory planning, and conducting business reviews.
β’ Create the operational playbook. As Yepoda currently lacks a US retail operating model, you will establish how we plan, execute, and report on this account.
β’ Collaborate closely with our Berlin-based teams in marketing, supply chain, finance, and product to facilitate seamless launches and campaigns.
β’ Track market trends, competitor movements, and category advancements to pinpoint growth opportunities within the US market.
β’ Serve as Yepoda's first commercial representative in the US, establishing our presence on the ground.
β’ 5 to 7 years of experience in national account management, key account management, trade marketing, or retail partnerships within the beauty, skincare, or consumer brands sector.
β’ Direct experience collaborating with Sephora US, preferably involving a brand launch or new brand entry within the past 3 years.
β’ Background from a scaling, challenger, or emerging brand where you have developed processes, playbooks, or operational methods from the ground up rather than adapting existing ones.
β’ A genuinely hands-on approach, comfortable engaging deeply with sell-out data, door-level execution, promotional planning, and forecasting.
β’ Strong commercial and analytical perspective with a definitive strategy for growing a Sephora account through both sell-in and sell-out methods.
β’ Experience working across various functions, including marketing, category management, supply chain, and finance teams.
β’ Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities, with the confidence to challenge Sephora stakeholders and drive initiatives forward.
β’ Capable of operating independently on the ground while fostering trust with a remote HQ team across different time zones.
β’ Must reside in the United States and be authorized to work in the country without current or future visa sponsorship.
β’ Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
β’ 401(k) plan.
β’ Paid time off, holidays, and sick leave.
β’ Paid parental leave.
β’ Employee discounts on Yepoda products.
β’ A collaborative, international work culture with flat hierarchies and inherent trust.
