This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Oversee designated national accounts to achieve targets for volume, revenue, and profits.
• Create and implement customer business plans that align with channel strategies and specific account objectives.
• Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP) initiatives and work collaboratively with buyers and category managers to enhance long-term partnerships.
• Utilize insight-driven selling techniques, employing category, shopper, and financial data to guide recommendations and identify new opportunities.
• Oversee pricing, promotions, and trade investments to ensure return on investment and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
• Facilitate the introduction and activation of new products, innovations, and promotional initiatives across the account portfolio.
• Collaborate with Category Management, Shopper Insights, and Marketing to provide customized customer solutions.
• Track sales performance, promotional execution, and merchandising compliance using standardized scorecards and performance metrics.
• Engage in customer meetings, industry events, and trade exhibitions.
• Deliver timely reporting, analysis, and insights regarding account performance, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as required.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in sales or account management within consumer packaged goods or related sectors.
• Demonstrated success in managing large, complex national or regional retail accounts with quantifiable sales and market share growth, focusing on Grocery/Dollar channels.
• Experience in developing and executing customer business plans and trade initiatives.
• Strong financial expertise with experience in managing pricing, promotions, and trade budgets.
• Proficient in sales analytics tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, capable of influencing both internal and external stakeholders.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Willingness to travel up to 30–50%, including overnight stays.
• Preferred: Experience in consumer goods, tobacco, or regulated sectors.
• Preferred: Knowledge of revenue growth management, Power BI, Nielsen, or similar analytics tools.
• Preferred: Advanced understanding of distributor incentive programs and performance scorecards.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing 45 lbs or more.
• Capability to navigate convenience stores, warehouses, and retail environments, including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
