This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take the lead on our Soft Drinks portfolio within Tesco to foster accelerated growth for the account, assuming full responsibility for the P&L in your area, which includes spearheading JBP negotiations, proposing and managing promotions and expenditures, and accurately forecasting and reporting internally on a monthly basis.
• Cultivate a strong understanding of your P&L and how to promote profitable and sustainable growth within the account to achieve the business's growth objectives.
• Develop robust relationships internally with the cross-functional team (shopper, category, digital, supply chain, etc.) and externally with key stakeholders at Tesco.
• Create detailed joint business plans with Tesco, collaborating with the Tesco Controller and other account managers to leverage strategic partnerships and drive key business goals.
• Oversee the process for weekly, period, and annual forecasting for Tesco while utilizing various data sources (Dunnhumby, Kantar, Circana) to analyze insights and translate them into actionable strategies in partnership with the Category team.
• Proven experience in account management within an FMCG setting (preferably with Tesco or other Top 4 retailers).
• Strong grasp of P&L management, forecasting, and business development within the grocery sector.
• Demonstrated ability to create and execute joint business plans and negotiate effectively to achieve results for soft drinks and Funkin products.
• Experience in managing relationships at senior levels both internally and externally.
• Ability to influence decision-makers and effectively present information at various organizational levels.
• Proficient IT skills, including experience with CRM, forecasting tools, and Google Office.
• Familiarity with Demantra and Looker is an advantage.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the capability to engage effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
