This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute a strategic engagement plan at designated accounts within the territory to ensure product coverage and access for a leading gene therapy aimed at treating recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP).
• Identify opportunities and emerging trends that foster mutually beneficial partnerships, enhancing patient access to care.
• Comprehend, educate, and collaborate with key decision-makers to promote product awareness and usage.
• Regularly engage and collaborate with various departments and key stakeholders within EVERSANA and our client's organization.
• Achieve or surpass all established objectives and expense plan goals by formulating and executing strategies tailored to the assigned account(s).
• Co-lead the formulation and implementation of Strategic Account Plans alongside Commercial Leadership.
• Oversee the execution of the payer account plan with Commercial Leadership through regular calls and meetings.
• Responsible for deploying value-based healthcare commercial resources that challenge account perspectives, elevate care standards, and boost the adoption of comprehensive care measures in clinical practice.
• Participate in and co-lead regular cross-functional market meetings concentrating on account/customer profiling, performance engagement, and accountability.
• Collect insights from aligned Centers and act as a prompt conduit of information back to Commercial Leadership and the wider organization.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university is required.
• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech sector.
• At least 5+ years of current or previous experience in pharmaceutical payer account management and hospital sales.
• Proficiency in navigating complex accounts, which is vital for success.
• Technical understanding of healthcare reimbursement from both patient and provider perspectives.
• Experience in Rare Diseases, oncology (and/or immunology), with a working knowledge of Gene Therapy.
• Cell and Gene Therapy experience is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Buy and Bill drug reimbursement dynamics involving payers and Medicare MACs.
• Experience in product launches, preferably within small to mid-sized companies.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to cultivate strong, trusting partnerships that enhance performance.
• Highly skilled in both verbal and written communication; employs advanced presentation skills for delivering corporate-approved materials.
• Advanced business analytical skills to recognize trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Ability to swiftly identify issues and formulate recommendations for timely and compliant resolution.
• Knowledgeable about current and potential future policies, practices, trends, technology, and information impacting the business and organization.
• Capability to succinctly articulate scientific and clinical aspects of disease education and management, mechanism of action (MOA), treatment prescribing information, etc.
• Expert in collaborating with cross-functional partners, including marketing, training, operations, medical, and others.
• Familiar with the legal and regulatory landscape; able to guide others to operate within compliance.
• Willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time; overnight travel is mandatory.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
