This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Play a key role in new business presentations.
• Build and maintain long-lasting relationships.
• Serve as a driving force in negotiating business terms to facilitate enterprise-wide implementations of Fortinet solutions.
• Achieve significant outcomes for all stakeholders involved.
• Efficiently onboard new clients.
• Take a proactive approach to nurturing and expanding existing accounts.
• Create a strong sales pipeline.
• Assess opportunities and deliver precise forecasts.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to prepare contract bids, proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and Statements of Work.
• At least 5+ years of prior sales experience in Health/Higher Education.
• Prior experience in developing business plans and market strategies aimed at boosting sales.
• Proven capability in selling solutions.
• A strong record of meeting sales quotas and demonstrated career consistency.
• Exceptional presentation skills for both executives and individual contributors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• A self-driven, independent thinker capable of advancing deals through the sales cycle.
• Results-driven, self-starter, with a hunter mentality.
• Candidates should excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Previous experience in network security is required.
• Familiarity with the following technologies: VPN, Firewall, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Intrusion Prevention, and Content Filtering.
