Myopia Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide professional education and training on myopia management and MiYOSMART®.

• Assist optical practices in effectively implementing myopia management programs.

• Foster relationships with optometrists, dispensing opticians, and practice teams.

• Offer clinical and commercial guidance to facilitate growth in myopia management.

• Conduct in-practice training sessions, workshops, and educational events.

• Aid customer accreditation and support ongoing development programs.

• Collaborate with Business Development Managers and Key Account teams to pinpoint opportunities.

• Evaluate territory performance and create action plans to boost adoption and sales.

• Participate in industry exhibitions, conferences, and customer events.

• Keep abreast of clinical evidence, competitor activities, and market trends.

• Enhance awareness of childhood myopia.

• Assist practices in discussing myopia management with parents and children.

• Support practices in integrating myopia management into the patient journey.

• Deliver educational programs aimed at improving patient outcomes.

• Promote the adoption of MiYOSMART® and related myopia management solutions.

• Experience in the optical industry.

• Strong skills in presentation and training.

• Excellent relationship-building capabilities.

• Commercial awareness and a customer-centric approach.

• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

• Valid UK driving license.

• Strong organizational and planning skills.

• Enthusiasm for education, coaching, and customer development.

• Qualification as a Dispensing Optician or Optometrist is preferred.

• Prior experience in myopia management is an advantage.

• Experience in delivering professional education programs is desirable.

• Background in account management, field sales, or clinical support is beneficial.

• Familiarity with myopia management evidence and treatment options is a plus.
