Music Production Expert, Norwegian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Compare AI-generated music tracks side-by-side and assess their musicality, creativity, adherence to prompts, vocal quality, production standards, mixing quality, and overall listening experience.

• Categorize and label songs according to genre, structure, instrumentation, vocal traits, and other musical elements.

• Analyze AI-generated lyrics and vocal performances against reference materials to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency.

• Detect production issues, such as problematic mixing, imbalances, dynamics, distortion, artifacts, and unnatural vocal characteristics.

• Consistently apply structured evaluation criteria across various musical genres and styles.

• Offer clear and precise feedback regarding the strengths and weaknesses of AI-generated music.

• Utilize professional critical listening skills to discern subtle musical and technical differences between outputs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in Norwegian.

• Capability to read and follow detailed written instructions in English.

• Over 2 years of professional experience as a Music Producer, Audio Engineer, Mixing Engineer, or in a related field within music production.

• Strong knowledge of music production, recording techniques, arrangement, mixing, and audio quality.

• Excellent critical listening skills, with the ability to identify subtle differences in musical and production quality.

• Strong familiarity with contemporary Norwegian music and its cultural context.

• Access to headphones or studio monitors that are suitable for professional critical listening.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to provide consistent, objective evaluations.

• H-1B and STEM OPT candidates are not currently supported.
