Music Production Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct side-by-side comparisons of AI-generated songs focusing on musicality, creativity, adherence to prompts, vocal quality, and production/mix quality.

• Categorize songs based on genre, structure, instrumentation, vocals, and other musical traits.

• Assess AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference materials to ensure quality and accuracy.

• Engage in projects aimed at training and improving generative music AI systems.

• Accomplish tasks independently while maintaining a flexible schedule.

• Take part in the application and onboarding process, which includes the Bilingual Competency Interview conducted in Greek.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or near-native fluency in Greek.

• Capability to adhere to detailed written instructions in English.

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer.

• Access to headphones or studio monitors that are suitable for critical listening.

• Formal education in music performance, theory, or composition is preferred but not mandatory.

• Previous credited or commercially released work in production, engineering, or mixing is advantageous.

• General knowledge of contemporary Greek genres, sub-genres, and artists is a plus.

• Completion of the application process, including the upload of a resume and participation in the Bilingual Competency Interview in Greek.

• Candidates must not hold H-1B or STEM OPT status, as Mercor is unable to support such applicants.
