This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist Marathon Health Provider in acquiring new state nursing licenses across all 50 states, focusing on states based on business priorities and timelines.
• Prepare, submit, and monitor individual NP license applications with state Boards of Nursing, including license by endorsement and Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) eligibility when applicable.
• Coordinate the collection of necessary documentation from NPs (transcripts, certifications, background checks, fingerprinting, malpractice history, DEA registration, etc.) required to complete each state application.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of licensing activities and application statuses for every NP across all 50 states.
• Prepare and provide required reports and status updates to Clinical Operations and Provider Services leadership.
• Ensure that all license application documentation complies with the standards and requirements established by each state Board of Nursing.
• Develop checklists, templates, and process documentation to enhance and standardize the multi-state licensure process for future reference.
• Communicate clearly and proactively with NPs, guiding them through paperwork, notarizations, fees, and state-specific requirements during the application process.
• Track and manage the status of all NP license applications and approvals, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of any state board inquiries or deficiencies.
• Liaise directly with state Boards of Nursing and primary source verification services (e.g., Nursys) to address application queries and verify license issuance.
• Conduct regular audits of NP licensing files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and external state regulations.
• Act as the main point of contact for Providers regarding multi-state licensing inquiries, issues, and concerns.
• Provide regular status reports and a final project summary/handoff documentation to Clinical Operations and People Experience leadership upon completion of the assignment.
• Undertake other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare licensing, credentialing, or compliance required; experience with multi-state nursing/provider licensure or the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) is highly preferred.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks punctually in a dynamic environment, with comfort and prior exposure to ambiguity in a business setting.
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills; capacity to interact positively with teammates at various levels across the organization and to promote a positive workplace environment.
• Proven decision-making skills.
