This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +3 more states.
• Manage cases independently from intake to resolution.
• Formulate and implement legal strategies based on factual investigations and legal assessments.
• Maintain substantial communication with:
• Courts and administrative bodies.
• Clients and financial institutions.
• Opposing counsel.
• Draft and review various legal documents, including:
• Pleadings, motions, briefs, and appeals.
• Agreements and security instruments.
• Appear at hearings and trials as required.
• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• At least 3 years of relevant legal experience.
• Active license in two or more specified states.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
• Capability to work independently while effectively collaborating with a remote team.
• Strong organizational, time management, and personal accountability skills.
• Persistent, resourceful, and proactive in problem-solving.
• Confidence to take ownership of outcomes from beginning to end.
• Willingness to travel for in-person hearings, firm training & meetings, and other firm-sponsored events.
• Proficiency in Mac/Apple operating systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365.
• Competence in Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with timekeeping and case management software.
• Knowledge of legal research applications.
