This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Serve as a localisation subject matter expert throughout the pre-sales process, offering insights on e-learning content workflows, tools, and formats.
• Define and strategize multimedia localisation projects for e-learning content in various languages, ensuring precision, efficiency, and scalability.
• Prepare source e-learning files (such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Captivate) for localisation, which involves extracting translatable content, audio, and visual elements.
• Reintegrate translated and localised materials, guaranteeing fully functional and linguistically accurate final e-learning modules.
• Assist in customer onboarding and implementation by providing workflow support for e-learning localisation.
• Oversee the localisation of video, voiceover, subtitling, and interactive learning resources according to project specifications.
• Share best practices for managing localisation-ready content and provide advice on automation possibilities in e-learning localisation workflows.
• Operate and maintain localisation tools and platforms, supporting both AI-assisted and human-driven localisation processes.
• Evaluate localised e-learning content, including SCORM packages, for quality, technical accuracy, and compliance with brand and platform standards.
• Conduct final quality assurance checks ("final eyes") and prepare final files for delivery to clients or internal stakeholders.
• Act as the primary expert on e-learning localisation workflows and tools within the organization.
• Achieve SLAs and KPIs for engineering and localisation delivery.
• Over 3 years of experience in e-learning localisation or multimedia localisation, with a strong emphasis on learning and development content.
• In-depth knowledge of preparing and localising content created in Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, and similar authoring tools.
• Comprehensive understanding of SCORM/xAPI compliance, LMS integrations, and common e-learning file formats.
• Expertise in video subtitling, editing, and localisation, including experience with voiceover, dubbing, audio integration, and subtitle synchronization.
• Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Camtasia, Audacity) and managing media files at scale.
• Knowledge of multimedia file formats and localisation-friendly formats (e.g., XLIFF, JSON, XML, STRINGS, SRT, VTT).
• Experience with CAT tools and localisation platforms (TMX editors, translation memory tools, OCR, and alignment software).
• Solid grasp of character encoding, formatting rules, and localisation QA standards.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in managing large file repositories and understanding file transfer methods (FTP, SFTP, cloud-based systems).
