Multi-Cloud Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist a FedRAMP-regulated program by securing cloud workloads across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

• Develop, manage, strengthen, and continuously enhance security controls across various cloud platforms.

• Apply and uphold security configurations, guardrails, and baselines throughout AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.

• Create and sustain security automation utilizing tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Bicep, or Deployment Manager.

• Operate cloud security tools including SIEM/SOAR platforms, CSPM solutions, vulnerability scanners, key management, and logging/monitoring systems.

• Oversee IAM, roles, policies, conditional access, and least-privilege models across multiple cloud identity systems.

• Implement FedRAMP and NIST 800-53 security controls within multi-cloud environments; support audits and continuous monitoring initiatives.

• Strengthen cloud resources including compute, storage, databases, containers, and serverless services.

• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to embed security into CI/CD workflows.

• Perform vulnerability assessments, patching tasks, configuration reviews, and remediation across cloud platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of relevant experience.

• Expertise in Cloud Infrastructure Security.

• Proficient in Cloud Security.

• Background in System Security.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

• Hands-on experience in cloud security engineering across at least two major cloud providers.

• Significant experience with Linux/Unix, automation, cloud networking, and security tools is highly advantageous.

• One or more advanced certifications related to cloud security preferred: AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Google Certified Professional Cloud Security Operations Engineer, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Security Professional.

• The candidate will undergo a government security investigation and must meet criteria for High-Risk Public Trust access.
