This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +2 more states.
• Develop solutions for federal, state, and local government clients and partners utilizing MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform.
• Offer both technical and strategic guidance on MuleSoft implementation initiatives.
• Assess customer technical and functional needs and create effective solutions.
• Collaborate closely with customers and MuleSoft team members to design transformative technology solutions.
• Lead customer, partner, and MuleSoft technical teams throughout multi-phase delivery projects.
• Provide hands-on delivery support, influencing development, governance, and operational lifecycle standards.
• Shape product direction and features by sharing insights with MuleSoft product leadership.
• Identify risks and obstacles in engagements and assist in designing and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Broaden the MuleSoft presence through professional services sales and partnerships with system integrators and third parties.
• Train, coach, and mentor Services team members in both technical and consulting competencies.
• Engage in Salesforce-sponsored volunteer initiatives.
• Must be a resident of the Washington, DC metro area.
• Six to ten years of demonstrated experience in leading integration teams and designing solutions within various technical groups.
• A degree or equivalent relevant experience is mandatory.
• Proven experience conducting technical workshops with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience in architecting service integrations with at least two of the following: MuleSoft, IBM, BEA, Oracle Fusion, TIBCO, Dell Boomi, Progress Sonic, or similar solutions; API Management solutions; on-premise or SaaS packaged COTS solutions for ERP, CRM, e-commerce, or mobile.
• Strong understanding of both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructures, SDLC pipelines, configuration, and deployment processes.
• Familiarity with API and integration security, including concepts and principles of authentication and authorization.
• Proven experience with high availability, fault tolerance, performance testing, and tuning parameters across multiple engagements.
• Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate self-starter qualities.
• Capability to quickly learn new concepts, business models, and technologies.
• A commitment to ongoing study of emerging technologies and functionalities.
• U.S. citizenship (either by birth or naturalization) is required.
• Dual citizenship is not permitted.
• Agreement to complete a U.S. federal government Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) for a Moderate Public Trust position is necessary.
• Must obtain and maintain the specific U.S. Government security clearance required for the position.
• Travel may be necessary, up to 25%, depending on client needs.
