MuleSoft QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and cases for MuleSoft integration solutions.

• Assess APIs and integration flows across System, Process, and Experience layers.

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of MuleSoft applications.

• Evaluate RESTful and SOAP APIs using suitable tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).

• Work collaboratively with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to establish test scenarios and acceptance criteria.

• Identify, document, and monitor defects, ensuring prompt resolution and retesting.

• Execute data validation and verify the accuracy of data transformations (DataWeave).

• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release validation activities.

• Contribute to test automation initiatives and sustain automated test scripts where necessary.

• Ensure compliance with QA standards, testing methodologies, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on integration or API testing.

• Preferred experience in testing MuleSoft applications or comparable integration platforms.

• Strong grasp of API testing principles, including REST and SOAP services.

• Practical experience with testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.

• Understanding of JSON, XML, and data validation methods.

• Familiarity with DataWeave transformations is advantageous.

• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, HP ALM).

• Basic knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting is a plus.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Advanced English proficiency (C1) is required.

• Must have experience working with U.S. clients.
