This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Develop and tailor Microsoft Dynamics 365 Model-Driven Apps along with Power Platform solutions.
• Design, set up, and manage Dataverse-based solutions, encompassing tables, relationships, security, and business logic.
• Create server-side components, plugins, integrations, and APIs utilizing C#/.NET.
• Apply client-side customizations employing JavaScript, form scripting, and PCF controls.
• Design and implement REST API integrations along with enterprise data integration solutions.
• Construct and maintain Power Platform Dataflows for ETL and data ingestion needs.
• Develop and configure solutions using Power Pages.
• Integrate Power BI with Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions for reporting, embedding, and data visualization purposes.
• Oversee application and solution lifecycle through Git-based source control and CI/CD methodologies.
• Engage in feature branching, pull requests, code reviews, and managing merge/conflict resolutions.
• Collaborate with developers and technical teams working on a shared codebase.
• Diagnose and address production issues through systematic root cause analysis.
• Assist with application deployments, releases, and technical implementation tasks.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and development standards.
• Ensure solutions adhere to Microsoft Power Platform development and security best practices.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to grasp requirements and convert them into scalable Dynamics 365 solutions.
• Extensive hands-on development experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
• Proven experience in developing and customizing Model-Driven Apps.
• In-depth understanding of Dataverse tables, relationships, security models, and data management.
• Experience in crafting C# plugins and server-side extensions using .NET.
• Proficiency in JavaScript customization, form scripting, and client-side development within Dynamics 365 / Power Apps.
• Experience in developing Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) controls.
• Skilled in designing and implementing REST API integrations.
• Experience working in a multi-developer environment with a shared codebase.
• Strong understanding of Git-based development practices, including feature branching, pull requests, and managing merges/conflicts.
• Competence in troubleshooting production issues and conducting root cause analysis.
• Exceptional documentation and communication abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
• Experience in government or public-sector environments is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting state education agencies or similar public-sector organizations is a significant advantage.
• Microsoft certifications are required or highly preferred: PL-400 – Microsoft Power Platform Developer or PL-600 – Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Equivalent professional experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform will also be taken into account.
• Candidates must currently reside in Texas.
