This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +2 more countries.
• Develop engaging design assets including ad sets and landing pages, utilizing data to enhance digital marketing KPIs.
• Create motion graphics and short-form video cutdowns that are optimized for social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Edit current video assets into effective ad units that meet platform specifications, aspect ratios, and viewer attention spans.
• Work in partnership with media and content teams to ensure motion creative aligns with audience insights and campaign objectives.
• Ensure brand consistency across all static, motion, and video assets while creatively adapting for different audience segments and platforms.
• Collaborate with internal and client teams to grasp business objectives, target audiences, and other data points for the creation of A/B tests and data-driven designs.
• Design and implement A/B tests and other experiments using conversion rate optimization (CRO) tools such as Optimizely, Unbounce, and/or Crazyegg.
• Perform user research, usability testing, and heat mapping analysis to collect insights and validate design choices.
• Continuously iterate and refine designs based on feedback, data insights, and testing results.
• Manage multiple design projects concurrently while effectively communicating with project management and other internal stakeholders to provide project updates, address feedback, and ensure their needs are satisfied.
• Remain informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to CRO and user experience design.
• 1-3 years of experience in graphic design, emphasizing performance-driven creative and CRO.
• At least 1 year of experience with motion graphics.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign.
• Basic video editing and motion graphics experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar software.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work efficiently with cross-functional teams.
• Understanding and application of performance marketing metrics such as A/B Testing, CRO Analytics, and Heatmapping, along with experience in designing for performance-driven campaigns.
• Passionate about staying ahead of industry trends, including actively exploring how AI and automation can enhance marketing and operations.
• 🏠 We offer a designated living wage at Directive; the annual base salary range for this position in Canada is $70,000 - $95,000 CAD. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on Directive's compensation practices, job-related skills, and level of experience.
