• Creating and animating motion graphics, kinetic typography, and branded transitions for both long-form and short-form video content.
• Developing and sustaining the motion design system, animation templates, and visual standards across all ACQ Media brands.
• Designing on-screen graphics, lower thirds, animated title treatments, episodic openings/closings, bumpers, and more.
• Delivering within a design-to-production handoff pipeline that integrates seamlessly into editor timelines.
• Maintaining and evolving the motion design language for each brand (Alex, Leila, Sharran, ACQ) — encompassing timing, easing, color, and typographic animation standards.
• Constructing and managing template libraries for animated lower thirds, title cards, social graphics, bumpers, and episodic title treatments in After Effects.
• Ensuring motion consistency across all outputs — every animated asset should be instantly recognizable as part of its brand.
• Documenting motion standards in brand guidelines and animation style references.
• Collaborating with the broader media team to ensure motion assets align with captured footage and overall visual identity guidelines.
• Crafting motion graphics, animated text treatments, kinetic typography, and branded transitions for long-form YouTube content and social clips.
• Designing and animating episodic openings, closings, chapter cards, and segment transitions that enhance production value across all series.
• Building motion assets that integrate smoothly into editor timelines in Premiere Pro with minimal revision cycles.
• Contributing to a shared motion asset library that boosts post-production output across the team.
• Designing and animating platform-native motion assets (animated covers, story templates, promo graphics, looping visuals) for Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube.
• Producing short-form motion pieces optimized for Reels, Shorts, and TikTok formats.
• Staying informed about platform-specific motion specifications, aspect ratios, and safe zones to ensure pixel-perfect delivery.
• Maintaining an organized, tagged, and searchable motion asset library.
• Applying file naming conventions and version control across all motion outputs.
• Delivering assets in appropriate formats, frame rates, resolutions, and codec specifications for each platform and use case — ensuring no ambiguity for the teams receiving them.
• Utilizing AI tools and motion automation (expressions, scripts, plugins) to enhance output speed without compromising quality.
• Proactively identifying and rectifying motion inconsistencies, quality drifts, or brand misalignments before they reach post-production.
• Using performance data to inform motion design decisions, rather than relying solely on aesthetic preferences.
• Continuously elevating the animation standard — settling for "good enough" is not acceptable.
• A minimum of 4 years of motion design experience within a media, agency, or content production environment.
• A portfolio showcasing exceptional motion craft, typographic animation, and high-volume output.
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro; strong working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
• A thorough understanding of animation principles: timing, easing, anticipation, and visual hierarchy in motion.
• Experience in designing and animating lower thirds, title treatments, bumpers, and episodic graphics for video content.
• Familiarity with platform-specific motion requirements across YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X.
• Proficiency in After Effects expressions and/or scripting (GSAP, ExtendScript).
• A systems-oriented mindset — you create animation templates and repeatable processes, not one-off solutions.
• Comfort operating within structured production environments (Monday.com, shared asset libraries, Frame.io, batch production calendars).
• Familiarity with AI motion and design tools (Hera, RunwayML, Adobe Firefly, or equivalent) and a willingness to incorporate them into daily workflows.
• Capability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
