This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Conduct research, interpret, and convey federal and state regulatory requirements to business stakeholders.
• Work in collaboration with Compliance team members and business partners on organization-wide projects, training sessions, and compliance initiatives.
• Evaluate consumer-facing advertisements and offer regulatory guidance to the Marketing Department.
• Utilize Lennar Mortgage’s Encompass loan origination software to investigate issues at the loan level.
• Address compliance-related inquiries and deliver precise, timely responses.
• Execute transaction testing and monitoring of loan samples to identify potential risks and control weaknesses.
• Present findings to management, suggest corrective actions, and assist in remediation efforts.
• Keep abreast of regulatory changes, industry trends, and emerging guidance to assess business impact and implementation needs.
• Draft, review, and update company policies, procedures, training materials, and other documentation.
• Utilize emerging technologies, including AI tools, while adhering to governance and security protocols.
• Prepare for and assist with federal and/or state examinations when required.
• Carry out additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in mortgage compliance.
• Comprehensive understanding of federal and state mortgage lending regulations, such as ECOA, HMDA, RESPA, TILA, UDAAP, ATR/QM, TRID, MAP, CAN-SPAM, SCRA, and TCPA.
• Capacity to research, interpret, and implement regulations in business operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Keen attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to manage workload effectively, balance multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with ICE Mortgage Technology Solutions, particularly Encompass, is preferred.
• Experience in conducting Fair Lending reviews, including redlining analysis, matched-pair testing, or related monitoring activities is preferred.
• Ability to prepare and/or submit regulatory reports, such as quarterly HMDA Loan Application Register data and Mortgage Call Reports (MCRs), is preferred.
