Mortgage Processor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of products, policies, procedures, and operating systems, including any implemented updates.

• Familiarity with FNMA, FHLMC, HELoans/HELOCs, FHA, VA, and 2nd Lien underwriting guidelines.

• Independently assess all types of self-employed income.

• Prepare loans and collaborate with members to ensure timely and efficient loan finalization and closing.

• Stay informed about product knowledge and changes in market conditions.

• Proficient in AUS systems.

• Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations concerning mortgage lending.

• Engage with borrowers, operations staff, title companies, etc., to facilitate the mortgage process.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of continuous current Mortgage Processing experience is required.

• Knowledge of TRID is essential.

• Experience with LoanSoft or Empower LOS is an advantage.

• Familiarity with SalesForce or Total Expert and database management is a plus.

• Strong skills in computer technology.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
