Mortgage Operations – Loan Post Closer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee the investor delivery pipeline, guaranteeing timely and precise delivery.

• Ensure that all final documentation, collateral, and loan data comply with investor and regulatory standards.

• Confirm that all loan documents are accurately recorded and dispatched to investors promptly.

• Supervise investor loan acquisitions and address any deficiencies.

• Collaborate closely with compliance and legal teams to track regulatory changes affecting loan sales.

• Engage in loan sale reconciliations and investor reporting procedures.

• Ensure the precise recording of mortgage notes, deeds, and title policies.

• Take ownership of the compilation, consolidation, and reporting of all quality control reviews and investor condition findings.

• Work with both internal and external teams to rectify errors in closed loan packages and/or resolve investor conditions before loan sales.

• Partner with processing, origination, and closing departments.

• Conduct internal file audits, offer loan-level feedback, and provide consolidated reporting.

• Assess and document the overall quality of loans originated by the company through analysis of investor feedback and audit results.

• Actively maintain the loan pipeline, along with associated tasks and objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mortgage loan post-closing.

• Proficient in LOS systems, compliance tracking, and document submission portals.

• Familiarity with investor guidelines and state requirements.

• Knowledge of state and federal lending regulations.

• Extensive understanding of customer service and interpersonal best practices.
