Mortgage Loan Originator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Initiate residential mortgage loans by fostering and nurturing relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral sources.

• Aid clients in choosing the most suitable mortgage product according to their financial circumstances and objectives.

• Assist clients throughout the mortgage application journey, including the completion of loan applications and the collection of necessary documents.

• Evaluate the financial status, credit, and property assessments of applicants to establish loan viability.

• Provide clients with loan options and clearly convey terms and conditions in an understandable manner.

• Ensure all loans adhere to underwriting standards and comply with both state and federal regulations.

• Liaise with underwriters, processors, and other involved parties to guarantee prompt loan approvals and closings.

• Stay updated on market trends, loan products, and modifications in mortgage regulations.

• Achieve set sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer, Loan Originator, or in a similar position.

• Active NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System) license.

• Familiarity with loan origination systems (LOS) and mortgage lending guidelines (e.g., FHA, VA, USDA, and conventional loans).

• Strong comprehension of financial documentation and credit evaluation.

• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and sales abilities.

• Capacity to work autonomously and manage time efficiently.

• High integrity and strong ethical principles.
