Mortgage Loan Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vermont.

📋 Description

• Initiate and oversee purchase mortgage loans from the application stage to closing.

• Transform company-sourced purchase leads into successfully funded loans.

• Foster strong connections with clients and Zillow Preferred Agents.

• Maintain an active pipeline while adhering to established service standards and productivity goals.

• Utilize Zillow’s CRM and data-driven resources to ensure pipeline health.

• Collaborate with centralized processing, underwriting, and closing teams.

• Provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience through multiple communication channels.

• Remain updated on market trends and regulatory requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in mortgage origination with a strong focus on purchase transactions.

• Valid NMLS Loan Originator license or Loan Originator status under a federal bank license.

• Successful completion of the 20-hour CORE Pre-Licensing Education and the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test.

• Demonstrated success in originating purchase loans within high-volume or agent-centric referral frameworks.

• Strong client service focus combined with consultative sales abilities.

• Ability to thrive in a structured, performance-oriented environment.

• Excellent verbal communication capabilities.

• Strong skills in time management, organization, and pipeline oversight.

• Proficient in CRM, LOS, and Microsoft applications.
