Mortgage Loan Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Initiate and oversee purchase mortgage loans from application to closing.

• Transform company-generated purchase opportunities into successfully funded loans.

• Foster strong connections with clients and Zillow Preferred Agents.

• Maintain an active pipeline while adhering to established service levels and funding goals.

• Utilize Zillow’s CRM and data-driven tools to monitor pipeline health.

• Collaborate with centralized processing, underwriting, and closing teams.

• Provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience.

• Stay updated on market trends and regulatory requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of mortgage origination experience with a focus on purchase transactions.

• Active NMLS Loan Originator status with state licenses or Loan Originator under a federal bank license.

• Completion of the 20-hour CORE Pre-Licensing Education course.

• Successful completion of the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test.

• Demonstrated success in originating purchase loans within a high-volume or agent-centric referral model.

• Strong client service orientation paired with consultative sales abilities.

• Comfortable working in a structured, performance-driven setting.

• Excellent verbal communication abilities.

• Strong skills in time management, organization, and pipeline management.

• Proficient in CRM, LOS, and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
