This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Initiate and oversee the purchase mortgage loan process from application to closing while ensuring adherence to all compliance standards.
• Transform company-generated purchase leads into funded loans through proactive engagement and effective borrower advisory.
• Cultivate strong connections with clients and, when applicable, with Zillow Preferred Agents and local collaborators.
• Manage an active loan pipeline while achieving established service levels, productivity benchmarks, and funding goals.
• Utilize Zillow’s CRM, loan origination systems (LOS), and data-driven tools to maintain pipeline health and enhance customer interaction.
• Collaborate with centralized processing, underwriting, and closing teams to facilitate efficient loan processing.
• Provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience through communication via phone, email, and text.
• Keep abreast of market trends, lending programs, and regulatory requirements to offer customized financing options.
• Maintain active licensing, fulfill required education, and engage in ongoing professional growth.
• A minimum of 3 years of mortgage origination experience with a strong focus on purchase transactions, either as an active NMLS Loan Originator with state licenses or as a Loan Originator under a federal bank license.
• Completion of the 20-hour CORE Pre-Licensing Education and successful completion of the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test – National Component with Uniform State Content.
• Demonstrated success in originating purchase loans within a high-volume, phone-based sales environment or an agent-centric referral framework.
• Strong client service orientation coupled with consultative sales skills and a thorough understanding of the mortgage process.
• Comfortable operating in a structured, performance-oriented environment with clearly defined KPIs.
• Exceptional verbal communication abilities and a talent for quickly establishing trust.
• Strong time management, organizational, and pipeline management capabilities.
• Proficient in CRM, LOS, and Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
