Mortgage Loan Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Responsible for selling and originating residential mortgage loans to meet sales targets.

• Processes residential mortgage loan applications and negotiates or offers terms for these loans.

• Assists customers throughout the mortgage application journey.

• Directly communicates loan decisions to customers and clarifies any further information required.

• Enhances understanding of current industry standards and trends by learning from seasoned sales professionals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage origination.

• Demonstrated sales proficiency.

• Growing knowledge of the mortgage industry, including products, lending practices, and regulatory standards.

• Excellent time management abilities.

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

• Proficient in PC skills, with the ability to adapt to mortgage origination and automated underwriting systems.
