Mortgage Branch Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Supports the Mortgage Regional Manager in overseeing and guiding Mortgage Loan Originators to meet production targets, achieve operational excellence, and foster growth and profitability within the region.

• Maintains an individual pipeline of retail mortgage loans.

• Engages in the recruitment, interviewing, and training of top-tier talent, while also proactively working to retain existing employees and manage their performance.

• Actively engages in local and state mortgage banking, realtor, and builder trade associations, while staying informed on mortgage industry knowledge and current issues.

• Communicates business goals, objectives, and company performance outcomes to the team.

• Fosters a productive sales environment through sales training, coaching for individuals and teams, and the development of marketing materials.

• Serves as the liaison between U.S. Bank Home Mortgage and other departments within the organization.

• Develops collaborative partnerships with various business lines within U.S. Bank.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• At least two years of experience as a Retail Mortgage Loan Originator.

• Minimum of two years in a supervisory role.

• In-depth knowledge of sales and sales strategies.

• Strong leadership and management abilities.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Well-honed customer service and relations skills.

• Proven skills in new business development and relationship management.

• Comprehensive understanding of mortgage products/services, operations, and current market trends.
