Montenegrin/English OPI/VRI Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montenegro.

📋 Description

• Professionally respond to phone calls while adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Maintain readiness to take notes during calls.

• Possess knowledge of the specific vocabulary relevant to the healthcare and medical sectors.

• Accurately and thoroughly convey all messages without adding, omitting, or altering any content.

• Deliver exceptional customer service during interpreting sessions.

• Facilitate effective communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients by providing precise and complete interpretation of messages.

• Uphold established standards of practice.

• Participate in internal professional training sessions.

• Demonstrate a strong desire to obtain new professional certifications.

• Maintain communication and provide reports to your team leader.

• Adhere to the dress code requirements for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English as the source language and a native speaker of the target language, "Montenegrin."

• At least 1 year of telephone interpretation experience with a reputable interpretation company.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology.

• Familiarity with legal terminology is advantageous.

• Possession of international certifications in the healthcare field is a plus (such as PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• High school diploma in your native language.

• High emotional intelligence and an appreciation for diverse cultures.

• Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
