This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct remote EEG monitoring and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Monitor and report on the EEG and video recording status, as well as electrode impedances and data integrity.
• Offer troubleshooting assistance during shifts for any issues that may necessitate contact with patients or equipment vendors.
• Ensure the proper functioning of the EEG recording system and electrodes.
• Reach out to the relevant personnel and/or patients to provide support when recording or integrity issues arise.
• Analyze EEG data to document both normal and abnormal EEG patterns along with clinical symptoms.
• Prepare preliminary technologist reports as required.
• Perform additional tasks as necessary to enhance patient care and technical operations.
• In-depth knowledge of normal and abnormal EEG patterns and seizure activity.
• Proficient with computers, technology, and various EEG recording equipment.
• Capable of troubleshooting technical issues effectively.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including night shifts and weekends.
• Must provide a HIPAA-compliant workspace with dependable internet service.
• Current ABRET Board certification in EEG Technology (R. EEG T.) is mandatory.
