This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Develop, enhance, and deliver data products with engaging narratives that offer analytically sound conclusions to both senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate effectively with the Government, across contractor teams, and independently to identify and rectify analytical, logical, and syntax discrepancies in simulations, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) models, algorithms, and large datasets.
• Perform analyses and generate custom metrics within a discrete event simulation environment such as AFSIM, utilizing post-processing tools like Python, R, Excel, and others.
• Provide quantitative solutions to complex questions centered on space systems.
• Evaluate the precision of algorithms within modeling frameworks and partner with others to identify enhancements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering (or equivalent), or in Operations Research/Mathematics (or equivalent).
• 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, MATLAB).
• Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering, SysML, and modeling tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler.
• Must possess SCI eligibility (background investigation within the last 5 years or under continuous monitoring) and be able to work regularly in Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities.
• Willingness to travel within the continental United States approximately 20% of the time.
