This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Oversee the validation of predictive and machine-learning models tailored to specific business requirements utilizing statistics, advanced mathematical methods, and/or computer science.
• Develop and utilize models, inferential statistics, and prescriptive analysis to proactively address business challenges by answering critical questions such as “What will occur and what actions should we take?”
• Propose solutions grounded in a comprehensive understanding of the context, interconnections, and derived conclusions.
• Evaluate deliverables and actively mentor others on methodologies and outcomes.
• Champion and promote best practices in data capture and retention.
• Implement ongoing enhancements to data processes, focusing on data efficiency.
• A Master’s degree (or its equivalent) in statistics, mathematics, economics, financial engineering, data sciences, predictive modeling, or related quantitative fields, alongside a minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience;
• A Bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent) in statistics, mathematics, economics, financial engineering, data sciences, predictive modeling, or related quantitative fields, along with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL.
• Advanced skills in Python/R/SAS: Databases.
• Knowledge of best practices for data capture and retention.
• Proven ability to engage and collaborate with mid to senior leadership levels.
• Incentive compensation that may encompass production, commission, and/or discretionary bonuses.
