This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Your role is positioned at the convergence of AI research and scalable software development. You will determine the naturalness, speed, and reliability of our models in a production environment.
• Research & Train: You will design, train, and assess our proprietary deep learning models, spearheading the creation of new features such as emotion recognition and integrating them into our foundational architecture.
• High-Performance ML Systems: Enhance our models for optimal inference speed and efficiency, ensuring they can manage extensive datasets and real-time tasks at scale.
• Software Engineering: Produce clean, production-ready code. We seek researchers who are also proficient software engineers, capable of converting intricate research into highly available architectures.
• MLOps & Tooling: Construct and sustain the internal pipelines for data processing, model training, and evaluation, facilitating swift and reliable iteration cycles.
• Profound knowledge of Python and contemporary deep learning frameworks (e.g., NeMo, PyTorch, or similar).
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with high-performance, large-scale ML systems, especially in the realm of Language Modeling (text or audio).
• A genuine startup mentality: You thrive in the dynamic environment of an early-stage codebase (inconsistent structures, missing documentation. You’ll help to address these challenges).
• Drive and Vision: You aim to actively influence the product, architect solutions, and take full ownership of projects rather than just processing Jira tickets.

• Proficiency in German (both spoken and written).
