This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Offer legal and strategic advice to clients regarding immigration compliance service delivery.
• Oversee and regulate Remote products and services to ensure immigration compliance.
• Develop, sustain, and enhance relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Identify, manage, and implement in-house immigration services to boost revenue generation, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Assess, prepare, and submit visa and work permit applications.
• Independently maintain and review immigration law, ensuring continuous compliance with regulatory changes, and manage internal documentation.
• Effectively address escalations, evaluate when a senior-level review is necessary, determine solutions, and guide stakeholders towards timely resolutions.
• Provide guidance for specific travel needs, advise on the immigration process, and serve as a contact point for business travel and sponsorship inquiries.
• Manage case statuses by efficiently utilizing case management and billing systems.
• Utilize immigration expertise to deliver solution-oriented responses for complex client cases.
• Be a collaborative team member who can work independently and take responsibility for daily tasks.
• Actively enhance processes through automation and thorough documentation.
• Demonstrated experience in immigration compliance, global mobility, or related roles, with a particular emphasis on immigration.
• Thorough understanding of immigration procedures and the typical processes required to ensure compliance.
• Capability to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Ability to maintain composure and efficiency under pressure, upholding high-performance standards during peak workload periods.
• Experience in the technology sector or with companies experiencing rapid growth and scaling is highly advantageous.
• Adaptable and flexible team player who can smoothly adjust to shifting priorities or changing processes.
• Proven customer-facing experience, with strong communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with a diverse range of clients.
• A keen interest in expanding knowledge of global immigration laws and a desire to develop expertise.
• Experience working remotely and/or asynchronously with minimal supervision is a benefit.
• Must be fluent in both written and spoken English (additional languages are a plus).
