Mobile/Frontend AI Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and create responsive, mobile-first user interfaces utilizing React and React Native.

• Lead the execution of contemporary UI/UX designs, emphasizing accessibility and performance.

• Connect frontend applications with backend APIs and services.

• Enhance application performance and establish efficient state management.

• Build cross-platform mobile applications leveraging Expo and React Native.

• Define and develop frontend architectures that can scale from web to mobile platforms.

• Integrate third-party APIs and services effectively.

• Implement real-time functionalities using WebSockets.

• Collaborate within cloud environments (AWS, GCP) to support frontend applications.

• Engage in CI/CD pipelines that influence frontend delivery.

• Monitor application performance and resolve frontend-related issues.

• Uphold security best practices in frontend implementation.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to develop frontend solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience with a robust technical portfolio.

• Over 7 years of product development experience with a significant focus on frontend technologies.

• Proficiency in growth strategies.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks (unit, integration, end-to-end).

• Experience with performance optimization and monitoring tools.

• Background in mobile-first development and responsive design.

• Expert-level knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+).

• Extensive experience with React, including hooks, context API, and state management.

• Proficient in modern CSS, styled-components, or similar technologies.

• Knowledge of the Expo framework and its development workflow.

• Experience in creating cross-platform mobile applications.
