This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Perform comprehensive on-site inspections of vehicle conditions for dealer clients within a designated territory.
• Safely locate, start, move, inspect, and return vehicles on dealer client lots.
• Confirm vehicle identification, VINs, mileage, sub-series, and options, ensuring accurate data entry into systems.
• Conduct inspections and document both the exterior and interior conditions of vehicles, including tires, frames, glass, panels, mechanical components, seating, dashboards, and installed options.
• Execute basic mechanical checks on powertrain, drivetrain, and electrical components.
• Identify and record any damage, missing components, or non-functional features.
• Establish trust with dealer clients through consistent quality, professionalism, and responsiveness.
• Inform clients about the benefits of Manheim Marketplace and mobile inspection services.
• Actively engage dealers to boost inspection volumes and maintain their participation.
• Utilize data, insights, and partner feedback to enhance inspection efficiency and productivity within the territory.
• Adapt to modifications in daily appointments and schedules to ensure dealer coverage is maintained.
• Prepare and submit daily activity and production reports.
• Utilize Salesforce.com for reporting, lead management, and tracking customer performance.
• Collaborate with Wholesale Specialists, colleagues, and other Manheim teams to foster client success.
• Contribute to process improvements in a continuous improvement and Lean environment.
• Adhere to production expectations set by leadership.
• Follow safety and health protocols and participate in Safety Excellence initiatives.
• Comply with Manheim inspection standards, including the NAAA Frame/Structure Damage Policy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Candidates must reside in Aurora, Colorado or nearby areas.
• A High School Diploma or GED is required for Level 1 positions.
• For Level 2: A High School Diploma or GED plus 3+ years of experience in a related field, or any higher degree/certification beyond a high school diploma/GED, or 5 years’ experience in a related field is necessary.
• Senior Level: A High School Diploma/GED plus 5 years of experience in a related field, or any higher degree/certification beyond a high school diploma/GED with 3 years of experience, or 7 years’ experience in a related field is required.
• Basic automotive knowledge is preferred for Level 1 roles.
• 0–1 years of automotive-related experience is preferred for Level 1.
• 1–2 years of automotive-related experience is preferred for Level 2.
• Previous vehicle inspection experience is mandatory for Senior Level.
• Strong knowledge of automotive body and mechanical systems is required for Senior Level.
• 2–3 years of automotive-related experience is strongly preferred for Senior Level.
• 1 year of service with Manheim Inspections is recommended for Senior Level roles.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
• Ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the role within specified timeframes.
• Capability to work independently with increasing autonomy, sound judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.
• No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship is available now or in the future.
• New hires are eligible for a $2,000 signing bonus.
