This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee, diagnose, and appropriately escalate real-time core network or infrastructure problems.
• Enhance and maintain OXIO's network while providing technical assistance.
• Ensure optimal performance of the telecom network by detecting and rectifying network/application issues.
• Resolve complex problems by analyzing end-to-end call traces across various protocols and interfaces.
• Develop on-demand dashboards to track specific metrics or to confirm service restoration after outages.
• Provide technical support to NOC engineers for issue analysis and resolution.
• Create training materials focused on signaling, troubleshooting, and best practices.
• Over 10 years of experience in a telecom environment, particularly in L3 support or similar positions.
• Expertise in protocol signaling analysis and troubleshooting across various protocols and interfaces in 2G/3G/4G/VoLTE networks.
• Strong understanding of the OSI model and TCP/IP networking, including both IPv4 and IPv6.
• Proficient in analyzing signaling traces with Wireshark.
• Experience in troubleshooting SS7 signaling networks.
• Skilled in using Grafana, Prometheus, and ElasticSearch.
• Basic knowledge of Python, Linux, and Bash.
• Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotating schedule.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
