Mobile Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Conduct regular maintenance and minor repair services on Ford and other vehicle brands (such as oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, recalls, and software updates) at customer sites.

• Identify mechanical and electrical problems using mobile diagnostic equipment.

• Clearly communicate with customers regarding the condition of their vehicles, recommended services, and timelines for completion.

• Efficiently manage daily schedules, travel routes, and service appointments.

• Keep a fully equipped mobile service vehicle organized and maintained.

• Thoroughly document services completed, parts utilized, and interactions with customers through digital systems.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and company standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (ASE certification is preferred).

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician (experience with Ford is a plus).

• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.

• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Proficient in using tablets, mobile applications, and diagnostic software.

• Strong skills in customer service and communication.

• Experience in mobile or field service operations.

• Familiarity with Ford systems, tools, and service procedures.

• Knowledge of electric vehicle (EV) maintenance is advantageous.
