This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and create scalable automation frameworks for mobile applications.

• Develop clean and maintainable automation scripts utilizing Appium for both Android and iOS platforms.

• Execute and oversee test runs on BrowserStack or similar cloud-based platforms.

• Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

• Collaborate with developers and product teams to establish test strategies.

• Conduct functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.

• Troubleshoot issues, analyze root causes, and ensure prompt resolution.

• Enhance automation coverage while minimizing manual testing.

• **AI-Driven Responsibilities**

• Utilize AI tools to generate test cases, edge cases, and test data from requirements, pull requests, or API specifications.

• Employ AI to examine test failures, logs, and screenshots to expedite debugging and root cause analysis.

• Participate in the creation or integration of AI-powered utilities such as pull request analysis, test impact analysis, or intelligent test selection.

• Persistently seek methods to optimize the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) using AI, reducing regression time and enhancing release confidence.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in QA Automation or as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).

• Significant experience with Appium for both Android and iOS applications.

• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript (preferred) or Java.

• Familiarity with BrowserStack or comparable tools.

• Experience with frameworks such as WebdriverIO, Mocha, and Jest.

• Practical experience in API testing.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and test design principles.

• Proficiency with Git.

• Excellent debugging and problem-solving capabilities.

• **AI-Related Requirements**

• Hands-on experience with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) for test case generation, debugging, or automation enhancements.

• Understanding of AI applications in test automation, CI/CD, and quality engineering workflows.

• Ability to validate and refine AI-generated outputs to ensure their accuracy and reliability.

• Basic knowledge of large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, or AI-assisted workflows in a testing environment.
