Mobile QA Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar.

📋 Description

• Proficient in mobile testing utilizing APPIUM for iOS applications via simulator.

• Engaged in automation tools for Android and iOS, including Selenium and Appium, to test native applications.

• Conduct regression testing through Selenium WebDriver and Appium.

• Develop frameworks from the ground up for tools like InTune, AzureAD, AppCenter, and XCode.

• Primarily focused on testing mobile devices operating on the iOS platform.

• Involved in building tests with exposure to Amazon Web Services (AWS).

• Experienced in Xcode, configuring iOS applications, and debugging Java and Cucumber frameworks within Selenium WebDriver for automation.

• Conduct regression testing using TestNG, JUnit, and Eclipse.

• Skilled in creating scripting frameworks from scratch utilizing Key Object Driven Methodology and Page Object Driven Methodology.

• Initiated new Java projects in Eclipse by identifying methods, locators, classes, and their corresponding code for automation.

• Configured jobs in Jenkins to deploy Java-based applications and manage test suite execution.

• Experienced in DevOps/Build and Release Engineering, automating the building, deployment, and release of code from GitHub.

• Collaborated on DevOps strategies by implementing CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Maven.

• Conducted manual testing across Development, Staging, and Production environments, supporting a variety of devices and platforms, including iPhones, iPads, and MacOS.

• Proficient in testing native device functionalities across various types of streaming HTTP Data Streaming and HCS for iOS.

• Developed test cases and scenarios in a Test Management Tool in alignment with UI Branding and Interactive Design Specification (IDS), updating them to reflect the latest UI flows.

• Experienced in testing content navigation, blackouts, data streaming, interruptions, opt-ins, and more.

• Executed eligibility and entitlement testing, including pre-paid and post-paid authentication, account validations, and certification authority checks.

• Developed and executed geo-restricted functionality tests from scratch, checking user location access to specific content and managing content switching and error messaging through mocking tools or physical locality testing.

• Tested the Force Upgrade Process covering error messages, App Store app replacement, and support over WiFi/Cellular.

• Maintained test cases, test executions, and reports within ALM.

• Conducted GPS On-Off testing, including In-Store mode.
