Mobile Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Lead product design initiatives from the discovery phase through to delivery and subsequent post-launch iterations.

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Brand Marketing, Data Analysts, Legal, and Trust & Safety teams to address significant user challenges.

• Contribute to the formulation of product strategy, experimentation, and roadmap discussions.

• Design mobile-first experiences for both iOS and Android platforms, with a strong focus on usability, accessibility, and visual excellence.

• Transform user requirements, business objectives, and technical limitations into well-considered product experiences.

• Leverage analytics, user feedback, and competitive insights to inform design choices.

• Develop prototypes and conduct concept testing to quickly validate ideas.

• Assist in the evolution and maintenance of Yubo's design system, ensuring consistency across the product.

• Promote high-quality user experiences while being pragmatic about delivery and iteration.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess 3-4+ years of experience in designing digital products, preferably within consumer mobile applications.

• You feel confident taking ownership of projects from the definition of the problem through to launch.

• You have a strong blend of visual design skills and solid product thinking.

• You are adept at utilizing data, research, and user feedback to inform your decisions.

• You can clearly articulate design rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• You enjoy working in close collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.

• You thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift.

• You have the confidence to make bold design decisions and advocate for them.

• You design with a user-centered approach.

• Experience in social, community, social discovery, gaming, or consumer subscription products is advantageous.
