Mobile HVAC – Maintenance Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Carry out preventive maintenance and emergency repair tasks on commercial HVAC systems, which include packaged units, air handlers, chillers, boilers, and related equipment.

• Manage, operate, and diagnose issues in electrical distribution systems, plumbing systems, building automation controls, and fire/life safety systems.

• Complete assigned work orders utilizing CMMS technology with minimal oversight.

• Perform facility inspections and due diligence assessments, documenting conditions that affect client operations.

• Travel to various client sites within the designated geographic area using a company vehicle.

• Independently plan and prioritize work tasks across multiple locations.

• Identify and suggest energy-saving opportunities through system optimization.

• Maintain professional relationships with clients and communicate efficiently with property management teams.

• Conduct building envelope maintenance, interior/exterior repairs, grounds upkeep, and manage parking lot systems.

• Operate and maintain production equipment relevant to designated facilities.

• Study and keep up to date with various building systems, equipment, and emerging technologies.

• Respond to on-call duties and be available for overtime as business needs arise.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; technical training or a trade school degree is preferred.

• At least 4 years of technical experience in commercial building engineering with a solid background in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

• Universal EPA/CFC certification is mandatory.

• A valid state driver's license with a clean driving record is required.

• Understanding of overall MEP/HVAC system design and applications.

• Capability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in various environmental conditions.
