Mobile Engineer – React Native, Expo

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Establish and take ownership of the mobile architecture and development workflow for other developers to follow.

• Potentially lead a team in the future.

• Oversee the complete application process and coding standards from start to finish.

• Manage builds, app store submissions, over-the-air updates, and releases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong work ethic and a high level of personal accountability.

• Successfully launched and maintained at least one production application from start to finish.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience with React Native (or native iOS/Android with a swift learning curve in React Native) including Expo experience.

• At least 5 years of experience with TypeScript.

• Proficient with Expo and EAS (Build, Submit, Update).

• Managed the complete store release cycle: signing/provisioning, TestFlight (iOS) & internal tracks, and handling review processes.

• Strong instincts for mobile performance (experience with Hermes is a plus).

• Successfully delivered a project with significant scale (offline-first, 100k+ users).

• Experience writing or modifying a native module (Swift/Kotlin).

• Background in iOS development.

• Knowledge of mobile observability.

• Active GitHub presence.
