Mobile Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement new features for iHerb's iOS and/or Android applications utilizing AI-assisted development tools.

• Engage in the mobile modernization initiative, enhancing app architecture and introducing new platform functionalities.

• Create maintainable and thoroughly tested mobile code, taking ownership of features from design specifications to app store deployment.

• Collaborate with designers and backend developers to integrate new APIs and enhance product experiences.

• Utilize Claude Code or similar AI tools daily for code generation, refactoring, and test automation.

• Contribute to the evolution of cross-platform tools and shared component libraries as the mobile platform advances.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in Swift/iOS and Kotlin/Android development.

• Proven experience in launching applications to the App Store and/or Google Play.

• Knowledge of mobile architecture frameworks such as MVVM or Clean Architecture.

• Experience with AI-driven software development life cycle (SDLC) using tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.

• Familiarity with .NET/C#, Go, Python, Java, React, MS SQL Server, Azure, or AWS.

• Solid understanding of software design principles, automated testing, code review processes, and CI/CD practices.
