Mobile Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and enhance new features within our cross-platform TypeScript React Native application and Golang backend APIs.

• Oversee our release processes utilizing tools such as cohorting, feature flags, and app-store infrastructure to guarantee a secure rollout to our millions of active users.

• Foster a strong collaborative relationship with product, design, and business teams to ensure stakeholder needs are assessed and addressed.

• Collaborate with the team to consistently produce clean, scalable, robust, and testable code.

• Acquire a thorough understanding of your application, data domain, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional mobile development experience, including at least 2 years with React Native or a similar technology such as Flutter.

• Proficient in working with native code on iOS (Swift/ObjC) and Native Android (Kotlin/Java).

• Experience in developing and delivering mobile applications to the Apple and Google app stores.

• Comprehensive understanding of React Native architecture, hooks, context, navigation patterns, and performance optimization techniques.

• Strong knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing (Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, Appium, etc.).

• Capable of leading features from inception to completion — including requirements gathering, design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and enhancement.

• Experience in mentoring junior or mid-level engineers.

• Competent in executing high-quality code reviews focused on maintainability, clarity, and best practices.

• Influences technical choices, suggests enhancements, and improves code quality across the team.

• Collaborates effectively with product managers, designers, backend teams, and quality assurance.

• Holds a Bachelor's degree in computer science.

• Proven experience with Claude or similar large language model tools is necessary; candidates should be comfortable using AI to improve productivity, research, and communication.

• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions, etc.).
