Mobile Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and enhance new features in our cross-platform TypeScript React Native application and Golang backend APIs.

• Oversee our release processes, utilizing tools like cohorting, feature flags, and app-store infrastructure to guarantee a secure rollout to our extensive user base.

• Foster a strong collaborative relationship with product, design, and business teams to ensure that stakeholder requirements are thoroughly assessed and fulfilled.

• Collaborate with the team to consistently develop clean, scalable, robust, and testable code.

• Acquire an in-depth understanding of your application, data domain, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional mobile development experience, including at least 2 years working with React Native or similar technologies like Flutter.

• Proficiency in native code for iOS (Swift/ObjC) and Native Android (Kotlin/Java).

• Experience in developing and releasing mobile applications on both Apple and Google’s app stores.

• Comprehensive knowledge of React Native architecture, including hooks, context, navigation patterns, and performance optimization techniques.

• Strong understanding of unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing (Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, Appium, etc.).

• Capacity to lead features from conception to completion — including requirements gathering, design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and enhancement.

• Experience in mentoring junior or mid-level engineers.

• Proficient in conducting high-quality code reviews with an emphasis on maintainability, clarity, and adherence to best practices.

• Capable of driving technical decisions, suggesting improvements, and enhancing code quality throughout the team.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, backend teams, and quality assurance personnel.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science.

• Proven experience using Claude or similar large language model tools is essential; candidates should be comfortable using AI to improve productivity, research, and communication.

• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions, etc.).
