Mobile Developer – Android

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, construct, and sustain sophisticated Android applications utilizing Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

• Participate in the integration and creation of Kotlin Multiplatform Modules (KMM) to facilitate sharing of business logic across Android and other platforms.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend engineers, to outline, design, and deliver new features.

• Guarantee optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications by identifying and resolving bottlenecks and addressing bugs.

• Keep abreast of the latest trends and innovations in Android development and incorporate them into the team's practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Android development with a robust grasp of Kotlin and the Android SDK.

• Extensive experience with Jetpack Compose and working with Kotlin Multiplatform Module (KMM).

• A proven history of developing and maintaining intricate Android applications paired with outstanding problem-solving abilities.

• Strong understanding of contemporary Android development tools and workflows (Android Studio, Gradle, Git).

• Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and their integration.

• Proficient in performance optimization, memory management, and debugging techniques.

• Strong knowledge of Android architecture components and design patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Experience in an agile work environment is advantageous.

• Familiarity with unit testing, UI testing, and automated testing tools.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines specific to Android applications.

• Understanding of coroutines, Flow, and modern concurrency patterns in Kotlin.
