Mobile App Quality Control Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Set up and configure testing software on Android devices and Windows laptops.

• Connect Android devices to laptops via USB cable and execute guided testing scenarios.

• Conduct functional testing across various Android devices and OS versions.

• Adhere to testing protocols provided by the engineering team to validate application functionality.

• Assess application behavior, data capture precision, and overall system performance.

• Execute regression testing following bug fixes and application updates.

• Identify, document, and report bugs, issues, and observations in a clear and organized fashion.

• Keep accurate records and documentation of testing activities.

• Engage in regular review meetings with the engineering and product teams.

• Effectively communicate testing results and recommendations.

• Proficient in using Android smartphones and Windows laptops.

• Basic knowledge of mobile applications, software installation, and fundamental troubleshooting.

• Capability to accurately follow detailed testing procedures.

• Comfortable with installing and using testing tools under the guidance of the engineering team.

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Ability to consistently reproduce issues and document findings clearly.

• Previous experience in Mobile App Testing, Quality Assurance (QA), Technical Support, Software Validation, or a related field is a plus.

• Familiarity with bug reporting tools and testing documentation is preferred.

• Good written communication skills in English.

• Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working independently in a remote setting.
