This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Enhance, standardize, and deploy data science and machine learning solutions at scale within cloud-based environments (Azure).
• Engage in the complete lifecycle of data science projects utilizing DevOps, code, experiment, and model management, CI/CD, and other industry-standard practices.
• Develop well-structured, testable, and efficient code.
• Collaborate closely with data engineering to continually refine our data consumption methods and model deployment in production.
• Design and oversee monitoring, troubleshooting, debugging, and incident management for our ML pipelines.
• Act as a trusted advisor and advocate to the team and stakeholders regarding various aspects of ML Ops, including scaling, throughput, infrastructure, and deployment strategies.
• Over 2 years of professional experience in ML Ops or ML engineering, specifically in productionizing and scaling ML models, focusing on support for data scientists/researchers (not primarily on research/modeling work).
• Extensive familiarity with the Azure cloud environment and Databricks, including its setup and maintenance as an ML platform.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL within version control systems (git), along with their application in constructing ML and data pipelines.
• Demonstrated experience with software development best practices, including testing, continuous integration, and DevOps tools.
• Solid understanding of the data science lifecycle and how data scientists operate to create value.
• Knowledge of agile software development lifecycles (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.).
• Strong focus on code clarity, ease of development, and accuracy of implementations.
• Business-level proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in productionizing ML tools with a user interface, such as Streamlit, Dash, or Shiny R.
• Experience setting up Azure cloud resources for data solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to guide audiences with varying technical backgrounds through complex ML Ops topics.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring junior team members in your areas of expertise.
