This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• The Mission Systems Operator (MSO) will report to the Chief Pilot and will be accountable for the operation of the motion imagery system in either the Learjet or Alpha Jet aircraft.
• Ensure qualification and maintain currency on the installation of the Motion Imagery system in both the Learjet and Alpha Jet aircraft.
• Assist in the creation and delivery of training for Sensor Operators.
• Collaborate as needed in the revision and dissemination of related guidance.
• Support Ops / DND in mission planning and troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Work with Lead Pilots to develop and refine Top Aces SOPs to ensure consistency with Customer standards.
• Fly regularly to maintain competency and ensure mission reliability.
• Advocate for company safety objectives and ensure that all Mission crew activities comply with the Company COM, Transport Canada regulations, DND regulations, Top Aces Flight Safety & Occupational Health and Safety programs, Foreign Object Elimination, CGP, and security regulations;
• Contribute to Top Aces safety initiatives and Quality Management System;
• Additional related duties may be assigned by the Chief Pilot or PM CATS.
• A minimum of 3 years of operational experience in Air-to-Ground operations control (JTAC, TACP, FAC(A) or equivalent), or as military aircrew (Pilot, ACSO, AESOp or equivalent).
• Must uphold the necessary aircrew qualifications, including successful completion of the centrifuge course.
• Must possess a Level II SECRET security clearance deemed acceptable by Canada.
• Must be a citizen of Canada or the United States.
• Experience with the Rover system and the use of video data links for CAS/ISR is preferred.
• Previous experience with fast jets is considered an asset.
• An Aeromedical Training (AMT) qualification, including the centrifuge course, is advantageous.
• Experience as an EO/IR sensor operator is beneficial.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
• Must be humble and approachable with strong communication skills.
• Previous experience in training or courseware development is a plus.
